Model 83 Corten Allagash
Evenings at Rae and Tom's now begin the same way: the soft crackle of flame, a breath of wood smoke drifting across the garden, and friends gathering around the newest centerpiece of their Belfast home — their Model 83 Corten Allagash.
It was love at first sight — and honestly, we get it.
That spark started in Skowhegan, when Rae and Tom visited the workshop. One oven stopped them in their tracks. Its presence, finish, and personality felt unmistakably theirs. They'd owned a wood fired oven before, so they knew exactly what they were looking for this time — durability for coastal weather, precision heat retention, and something that brings people together. This was it.
The Model 83 is available as a turnkey option, but Rae and Tom wanted us there for the install. We're glad they did. Two people, 15 minutes, and a crane that guided it into place like it belonged there all along. Because it did.
Where Gatherings Find Their Rhythm
What started as a backyard upgrade became a weekly ritual almost immediately. Friends, neighbors, good food, and a fire that sets the pace for all of it. The Model 83 has become the focal point of every gathering at their place — and something tells us that's not changing anytime soon.
There's a reason wood fired cooking endures. It slows things down just enough to notice the people around you.
For Rae and Tom, that's where the magic is. We're just glad we got to be a small part of it.
