General Shipping Information

Investing in a Maine Oven is an exciting step toward transforming your culinary experience. To ensure a seamless delivery, we’ve outlined key details about our shipping process, whether you’re receiving a residential, commercial, or mobile oven.

Each Maine Oven Craft oven is handcrafted and built to order, requiring careful handling during transport. We partner with trusted freight carriers specializing in white-glove delivery to ensure your oven arrives safely and ready for installation.

Production Timeline:

Lead times vary based on customization and production schedules. We will provide estimated delivery dates when your order is confirmed.

Freight & Delivery:

Ovens are shipped via specialized freight carriers. Residential and commercial ovens are palletized and crated for maximum protection.

Arrival Inspection:

It is crucial to inspect your oven upon delivery. While rare, any damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading before signing. Please document any concerns with photos and contact us immediately.

Residential Ovens

For homeowners, we offer curbside delivery. Your oven will arrive on a pallet, carefully crated for protection. While the delivery team ensures it reaches your property safely, you will be responsible for unloading and moving it to its final installation location.

What to Expect:

Curbside Delivery: Your oven will arrive via a full-size semi-truck. Ensure your property has sufficient access for large freight vehicles. If space is limited, we will work with you on an alternate delivery arrangement.

Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for unloading and arranging your oven's final placement and installation.

2.

Moving the Oven:

Ovens are extremely heavy and will require specialized equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, or gantry crane to move them off the truck and into place.

1.

Site Preparation:

Ensure a solid, level foundation for your oven prior to its arrival. A concrete pad, brick platform, or other non-combustible base is recommended.

Installation Considerations:

3.

Uncrating:

Your oven is secured in a protective crate with designated lift points for safe handling. To uncrate it, you will need a Torx bit to remove screws.

4.

Placing the Oven:

Once uncrated, position your oven on its stand or installation surface and enjoy for years to come!

TIP: We recommend hiring a contractor, equipment operator, or rigging company for safe unloading and placement. While our team won’t be on-site, we’re just a call away for setup and operational guidance.
